Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Verkor. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for the design and development of mechanical parts and their integration with product and process design.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical parts from concept to D sample, validating and reviewing the design with relevant stakeholders.
- Act as a mentor to fellow mechanical cell design engineers and lead design reviews internal and external.
- Plan, direct, and follow up on project-related testing and industrialization activities.
- Identify and meet special customer requirements pertaining to mechanical design.
- Lead innovation and design for manufacturing projects.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical, materials, or similar engineering.
- ~6+ years of experience preferably in module, electronics, or sheet metal industry or 4+ years in li-ion battery design.
- ~ Design experience in relevant cell format.
We offer a stimulating work environment, pleasant offices, and a multicultural and motivated team. You will also receive 5 weeks of holidays per year and 2 weeks of compensation time (RTT). All positions are open to individuals possessing a Recognition of the Status of Disabled Worker (RQTH).
