Job Description

We are seeking a Government Sales Lead for NielsenIQ to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading large sales engagements across our portfolio of NielsenIQ measurement solutions to government vertical clients. You will work closely with the International Director to drive sales of NielsenIQ solutions to key European markets & European Union Institutions. Your key responsibilities will include achieving sales and commercial objectives by clearly articulating NielsenIQ's value proposition and use cases to decision makers, collaborating with other product sales leads & cross-functional partners, and generating sales leads and maintaining a pipeline of sales opportunities across a portfolio of government clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead large sales engagements across our portfolio of NielsenIQ measurement solutions to government vertical clients
  • Work with the International Director to drive sales of NielsenIQ solutions to key European markets & European Union Institutions
  • Achieve sales and commercial objectives by clearly articulating NielsenIQ's value proposition and use cases to decision makers
  • Collaborate with other product sales leads & cross-functional partners
  • Generate sales leads and maintain a pipeline of sales opportunities across a portfolio of government clients

Requirements
  • 6+ years' experience selling to Government, Public Sector including EU Institutions
  • Previous experience in data & market measurement
  • Deep knowledge of how data can provide critical evidence and insight to this client sector
  • Demonstrated success in driving new business and achieving high-level sales results
  • Experience in scoping and developing government and public sector tenders, proposals, and negotiation strategies
  • Excellent sales pipeline management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
  • Preferably French speaking with excellent business English, Italian a plus
