Job Summary:
Accuray is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in Paris, France. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, diagnosing, and maintaining Accuray systems at clinical sites and hospitals in the EIMEA Region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build Strong Customer Relationships: Utilize technical expertise to establish trust and rapport with customers, ensuring seamless support and service.
- Remote and On-Site Support: Provide timely and effective assistance to customers via remote access and on-site visits, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems on sophisticated software, electronic, and mechanical devices.
- Schedule Management: Prioritize tasks and manage schedules to ensure timely completion of work activities and meet customer expectations.
- Documentation and Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of work activities and manage parts inventory to ensure efficient operations.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete timesheets and expense reports, and assist in the development of service documentation.
- Training and Development: Train customer personnel on Accuray systems and engage in product and quality training to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies.
Requirements:
- Education: Hold a degree in electronics/electrical engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years' experience in Field Service, with a strong background in technical support and customer relations.
- Skills: Good computer skills, ability to learn new software tools, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, able to work independently, and comfortable with travel and occasional after-hours support.
