Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated individual to become part of the Legal Division at Natixis, working under the guidance of the Lead Counsel. This role involves the formulation and management of regulatory and contractual documentation pertinent to UCITS, AIFs (Alternative Investment Funds), and management mandates, with the aim of safeguarding the legal interests of Natixis and its clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, amend, oversee, and finalize UCIs (UCITS, AIFs) and both domestic and international management mandates, including the creation of KIID, prospectuses, and regulations, while collaborating with product and management specialists on investment policies;
- Engage in the formulation and negotiation of contracts associated with these investments, such as management agreements, advisory contracts, and financial management delegations, while ensuring they are up-to-date;
- Assist business units in responding to requests for proposals;
- Collaborate with various departments within Natixis, regulatory bodies, custodians, valuers, and delegated management firms;
- Work alongside the Public Affairs team to stay informed on regulatory changes in third-party asset management, whether discretionary or collective;
- Contribute to internal training and awareness initiatives regarding legal and regulatory matters related to UCIs and management mandates.
As a financial legal advisor, you will closely collaborate with all sectors of Natixis, particularly with Management, Development, Risk, Compliance, and Permanent Controls, as well as external law firms when necessary.

Candidate Profile:
We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
- A higher education degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in legal roles within a management company;
- Familiarity with the regulations governing UCITS and AIFs;
- Understanding of the regulatory framework for third-party financial management;
- Strong interpersonal skills and active listening abilities;
- Attributes such as involvement, organization, rigor, pragmatism, analytical thinking, client orientation, and solution-focused mindset;
- Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple projects concurrently, and collaborate effectively with internal teams;
- Proven negotiation and writing skills;
- Fluency in English at a C2 level.
