Verkor, a pioneering French industrial company, is seeking a skilled Procurement Operation Analyst to join its team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of European mobility.
Responsibilities- Manage the execution of buying activities for recurrent purchases, covering both equipment and materials procurement operations.
- Manage transactional buying activities for one-off purchases, including capex, and guide requesters to improve their practices.
- Ensure process flow in SAP and sanity check documents based on good knowledge of procurement processes.
- Contribute to developing procurement processes and procedures to ensure continuity and consistency of work tasks.
- Manage the supplier base in ERP, including creation, modification, and account management linked to finance procedures.
- Investigate and propose solutions for vendor claims, and escalate issues to other departments as needed.
- Monitor PO portfolios and alert on delivery issues, interacting directly with suppliers.
- Run basic negotiations with vendors.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in the complete purchase cycle and ERP systems, specifically SAP.
- Strong customer focus, with excellent cooperation skills with Finance, Procurement, and Logistics teams.
- Attention to detail, with the ability to alert and escalate issues.
- Capacity to work in a team, collaborate with others, and adapt to new challenges.
- Previous similar experience, with familiarity with equipment and materials life-cycle procurement.
- Microsoft applications and digital awareness.
- Ability to handle tight deadlines and communicate effectively.
- Flexibility and willingness to learn and work as a team.
