Job Title: Front Office Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Manager to join our team at Mercure Oxford Hawkwell House Hotel. As a key member of our hotel's management team, you will be responsible for leading the Front of House department and ensuring operational excellence in all areas of the hotel.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Motivate the Front Office Team: You will be responsible for leading, motivating, and coaching the front office team to ensure the hotel standards are delivered to meet customer satisfaction and audit targets.
  • Drive Loyalty Programmes: You will drive the ALL Accor Loyalty programme and ensure programme benefits are applied to our loyal guests.
  • Duty Management: You will be required to manage duty shifts and ensure that the hotel is running smoothly at all times.
  • Exceed Departmental Targets: You will be responsible for exceeding departmental targets and identifying new opportunities to increase profit contributions and cost control.
  • Participate in Revenue and Sales Activities: You will actively participate in any revenue and sales activities operated by head office and any specific operational activities.
  • Recruit and Train Staff: You will be responsible for recruiting and training new staff to ensure that the front office team is well-equipped to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Deal with Guest Enquiries: You will be responsible for dealing with guest enquiries and resolving customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Create a Memorable Guest Experience: You will be responsible for creating a memorable guest experience for our guests that will leave them wanting to return for more.

Requirements:

  • Experience: You will have experience in a similar role or supervisor role with 2-3 years experience.
  • Leadership Skills: You will have strong leadership, interpersonal, and training skills.
  • Communication Skills: You will have good communication and customer contact skills.
  • Results-Oriented: You will be results-oriented with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to Multi-Task: You will have the ability to multi-task, work well in stressful and high-pressure situations.
  • Team Player: You will be a team player and builder.
  • Motivator: You will be a motivator and self-starter.
  • Professional Presentation: You will be well-presented and professionally groomed at all times.
