Market Surveillance Compliance Officer

You will be part of the Surveillance team as a Compliance Officer Market Surveillance. This team is responsible for conducting investigations and analyzing transactions to detect potential market manipulation or insider trading.
Key Responsibilities- Optimize the operational system for generating, processing, escalating, and closing alerts related to market monitoring, potential market abuse, and current regulations.
- Investigate and review market integrity alerts in collaboration with the Global Markets Advisory Monitoring and Compliance team.
- Lead the training and development of the Monitoring Analyst based in Porto.
- Maintain the Market Abuse Risk Assessment to prioritize surveillance actions and surveillance system and policy developments.
As a Market Surveillance Compliance Officer, you will contribute to optimizing the functioning of the market surveillance operational system to detect potential breaches.
You will work in an international environment, part of a community of experts that values excellence, impact, and collective action.
This position is based in Paris with the possibility of remote work.

Requirements- Higher education with proven experience in a similar position.
- Familiarity with assessment of alerts from monitoring systems, data analysis and management through market software packages, market products belonging to different asset classes, and management of multi-departmental and multi-regional projects.
- Excellent relationship, good listening ability, collaborative, and used to working with global stakeholders.
- Motivated by sharing expertise and managing transformation projects, able to handle complex situations, and identify risks of non-compliance.
- Master English with a C1 level.
