About the RoleWe are seeking a Compliance Officer Market Surveillance to join our team in Paris. As a key member of our Surveillance team, you will be responsible for investigating and analyzing transactions to detect potential market manipulation or insider trading.
Your main tasks will include:
- Piloting the optimization of our operational framework for generating, processing, escalating, and closing alerts related to market surveillance, potential market abuse, and regulatory compliance;
- Conducting investigations and reviews on alerts related to market integrity, in collaboration with our Surveillance and Global Markets Advisory teams;
- Leading the training and development of our Surveillance Analyst based in Porto;
- Maintaining an up-to-date risk map for market integrity (Market Abuse Risk Assessment) to prioritize surveillance actions and system developments.
You will work in an international environment, part of a community of experts who prioritize excellence, impact, and collective action. As a Compliance Officer Market Surveillance, you will contribute to optimizing our market surveillance function to detect potential non-compliance.
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- A higher education degree and relevant experience in a similar position;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate alerts from surveillance systems, analyze and manage data through market software, and understand various market products;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with global stakeholders, share expertise, and lead project development;
- Fluency in English (C1 level) and proficiency in French.
