Your Role: Production Team Lead - Naval Construction
As a Production Team Lead, you will manage, support, and unite teams of skilled welders and metal carpenters within our metal element assembly workshops. Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager, your responsibilities encompass directing team activities, ensuring timely task completion, and maintaining adherence to production schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of welders and metal carpenters, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Develop and implement efficient workflows to optimize production processes and meet project deadlines.
- Monitor production progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and proactively address challenges to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members, promoting continuous learning and skill development.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and internal policies, creating a secure working environment for all.
- Collaborate with Lean, Quality, and Supply Chain departments to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
Your Profile:
We seek a highly motivated and experienced individual with a proven track record in team leadership and technical expertise within the industrial sector.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, such as metalworking, production engineering, or industrial mechanics.
- Demonstrated success in leading and managing teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and their application in optimizing production processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in office tools and a commitment to continuous improvement.
