Job Description: Visitor Experience Specialist
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Visitor Experience Specialist. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating memorable and enriching experiences for our visitors. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from welcoming guests and providing information to guiding tours and promoting our diverse offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by warmly greeting and assisting visitors with their inquiries and needs.
- Share your enthusiasm for science by effectively communicating information about exhibits, programs, and events.
- Contribute to a positive and engaging atmosphere by fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all visitors.
- Support the smooth operation of visitor services by managing documentation, handling phone inquiries, and ensuring efficient visitor flow.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute special events that enhance the visitor experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in visitor services, tourism, or customer-facing roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in English and another European language is highly desirable.
