Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team in France and Belgium. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading market development sales activities, conducting territory planning, and utilizing consultative selling skills to manage objections and negotiate sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Market Development Sales Activities
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue growth in the assigned territory
    • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders
  • Conduct Territory Planning
    • Identify and prioritize sales opportunities
    • Develop and implement territory plans to achieve sales objectives
  • Utilize Consultative Selling Skills
    • Manage objections and negotiate sales
    • Provide solutions to customers' needs and challenges
  • Maintain and Develop Relationships
    • Build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders
    • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Act as a Liaison
    • Collaborate with Applications, in-house R&D, and key customers to identify and develop new applications and market opportunities
  • Manage and Grow Accounts
    • Manage and grow accounts across industrial, research facilities, and universities
  • Project Management
    • Ensure timely delivery of results

    • Participate in national and international conferences and exhibitions

Requirements

  • Education
    • Bachelor of Science or post-graduate degree in Life Sciences or a related field
  • Experience
    • Approximately three to five years of scientific equipment sales experience
    • Experience in selling instruments, automation, and consumables enabling high-throughput technologies or in the Next Generation Sequencing market
  • Skills
    • Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
    • Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks
    • Capability to work independently or as part of a team

Location

  • The position is field-based covering France & Belgium. Access to public transport (airport, train station) is essential.
