The T.S. Manager will be responsible for the territories in a geographic region for the sale and distribution of its products by providing leadership to the dealer sales team. The goal is to optimize customer satisfaction and independent dealer performance by developing and implementing a territory business plan. The regions that you will be responsible for are the Northern European Territories and France



Responsibilities

  • Develop and agree on annual plans, associated budgets, and sales strategies, monitor performance against this, initiating corrective action where necessary to ensure operations are conducted within the agreed financial parameters and targets are achieved.
  • Develop and put in place appropriate policies and procedures to cover key areas of sales activity and ensure effective systems are in place for monitoring compliance with established store and service standards.
  • Identify and develop strategies towards revenue from institutional sales through effective networking, develop and implement appropriate strategies in areas of promotions, special offers, events, etc. thereby achieving planned revenue targets.
  • Manage the brand image of the store/ product, develop and implement all chain and brand marketing activities to establish and grow the brand in the market.
  • Analyze the market and the local consumer tastes and preferences and customize the offered eateries to suit local requirements (while staying within international standards).
  • Manage and control all aspects of stock management within the outlets, and ensure adherence to procedures thereby minimizing stock accumulation/ loss. Prepare and submit necessary reports on sales and cost budgets and forward the same to the Directors as required.
  • Manage the training, development, and motivation of staff and ensure that the outlets are staffed with the requisite numbers and caliber of staff to meet its objective and that all staff is encouraged to maximize their capability and contribution.
  • Analyzing new business developments and monitoring market trends.
  • Represent the Company at various forums and events organized by dealers and customers on assigned territory.
  • Develops new markets, appoints new dealers, and meets existing dealers to enhance technology knowledge.
  • Handle technology setup from around the covered area and identify new sales channels.
  • Understands the needs of end users and dealers in assigned territory to further adoption of company technology.
  • Supports the Valley Territory Managers when requested for Valley technology products and services, including agronomic support if required.


Qualifications

Education level: Bachelors with 3+ years relevant ag experience OR associate’s degree with 4+ years relevant ag experience OR 5+ years of relevant ag experience.

Experience: 3 -5 years of sales experience; preferably in the sale of irrigation machines and related equipment, industrial machinery and equipment.


  • Specific knowledge, skill, ability, and requirements: Methodical approach to problem-solving techniques. Should be result-oriented, assertive, and have good interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential Must have good knowledge of Microsoft products such as Excel, Win Word, PowerPoint, etc. Experience in working with multicultural environments is desired.
