We are seeking a Construction Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure adherence to quality assurance standards for a major energy infrastructure project in Corsica.

Job Overview

This role involves monitoring compliance with quality assurance procedures, performing inspections, and upholding the highest standards in construction quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reviewing project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Conducting pre-inspections and monitoring on-site activities, including soil compaction, concrete testing, and structural inspections.
  • Ensuring compliance with Inspection Test Plans (ITP), project specifications, and applicable standards.
  • Coordinating with the QA manager to develop quality control procedures and reports.
  • Monitoring construction progress against contractual work schedules.
  • Ensuring that all activities comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates must have:

  • Fluency in French (mandatory) and professional proficiency in English.
  • A Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • At least 8–10 years of experience in quality assurance/control, including 5 years in construction quality management.
  • Certification in ISO 9001, AWS CWI, or CSWIP SWI (or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of QA/QC standards, such as ISO 9000, ASME, ANSI, and ASTM.
  • Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings, standards, and codes.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure.

The estimated salary for this position is approximately $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a transformative energy project in Corsica.
