Role Overview: Compliance Analyst in Procurement and CSR
Our small team within the procurement department is tasked with defining, implementing, and overseeing supplier risk management processes related to Corporate Social Responsibility, including environmental considerations: group vigilance plan, carbon trajectory for scope 3, and more. We also contribute to the implementation of new European regulations such as the CSRD on non-financial performance and the CS3D on due diligence.
As a cross-functional team, we collaborate with other corporate services (compliance, sustainability, etc.), procurement professionals, and Chief Procurement Officers of Business Groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and analyze dashboards to identify and monitor high-risk suppliers (environmental, human rights, and ethical concerns).
- Initiate actions to gather and analyze information to ensure supplier compliance, particularly regarding soft laws published by the OECD or the United Nations concerning conflict minerals.
- Collaborate with procurement professionals and category managers to promote best practices, implement necessary actions with suppliers, and monitor their execution.
- Prepare documentation in response to client inquiries regarding the compliance status of Nexans suppliers.
- Coordinate with suppliers involved in various audit processes and information providers to ensure the effective execution of their services.
Your Qualifications:
- You have a passion for creating dashboards to manage and monitor supplier actions and engage with Key Account Managers to advance these initiatives.
- You are detail-oriented, inquisitive, and proactive.
- You possess knowledge of compliance law, including familiarity with one or more regulations related to vigilance, corruption, or CSR compliance.
- You can monitor upcoming regulations and changes in positive law to identify new compliance trends.
Educational Background:
- Master II in Economic Intelligence, legal studies, or procurement.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, with skills in Power BI and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of contract law and compliance.
- Basic knowledge of Corporate Social Responsibility.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
