WELCOME TO NEXANS

At Nexans, our mission is to electrify the future. With over a century of experience, we are pivotal in the global electrification journey. Our workforce of approximately 25,000 across 38 countries is dedicated to advancing a safer, sustainable, renewable, and accessible energy landscape for all.

Role Overview: Compliance Analyst in Procurement and CSR

Our small yet dynamic team within the procurement department is tasked with defining, implementing, and overseeing supplier risk management processes that align with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) principles, including environmental considerations such as the group vigilance plan and carbon trajectory for scope 3 emissions. We also play a vital role in adapting to new European regulations, including the CSRD on non-financial performance and the CS3D on due diligence.

This cross-functional team collaborates closely with various corporate services, including compliance and sustainability, as well as buyers and Chief Procurement Officers from different business groups.

We are seeking a compliance analyst for a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and analyze dashboards to identify and monitor suppliers at high risk concerning environmental, human rights, and ethical standards.
  • Initiate actions to gather and assess information to ensure supplier compliance, particularly regarding soft laws from the OECD and the United Nations on conflict minerals.
  • Collaborate with buyers and category managers to promote best practices, implement necessary supplier actions, and oversee their execution.
  • Prepare documentation in response to client inquiries regarding the compliance status of Nexans suppliers.
  • Coordinate with suppliers involved in various audit processes and information providers to ensure effective service delivery.

Your Qualifications:

  • Proficient in creating dashboards for managing and monitoring supplier actions, engaging with Key Account Managers to drive these initiatives.
  • Detail-oriented, inquisitive, and proactive in your approach.
  • Familiarity with compliance legislation, including knowledge of regulations related to vigilance, corruption, or CSR compliance.
  • Ability to monitor upcoming regulations and legal changes to identify new compliance trends.

Educational Background:

  • Master’s degree in Economic Intelligence, Law, or Procurement.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, with proficiency in Power BI and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of contract law and compliance.
  • Basic knowledge of Corporate Social Responsibility principles.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Salary: To be discussed based on experience.
