Account Manager Role

We're looking for a skilled Account Manager to join our team at Lightspeed in Paris. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining lasting relationships with our clients. You will work closely with our clients to understand their objectives and introduce them to our suite of products and integrations to ensure they're getting the best solution to help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for selling Lightspeed Payments to our existing customer base
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for your customers;
  • Guide qualifying customers through their upgrade path from basic platforms to more advanced platforms;
  • Demonstrate software solutions to your customers, from core POS products to modules and upgrades;
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize the growth of your book of business;
  • Track key book of business metrics like added MRR and net retention.

Requirements:

  • Sound experience in account management, sales development representative or similar role carrying a sales quota;
  • Understanding of solution-based consultative sales in a SaaS environment;
  • Ability to use Salesforce and other technologies to manage and organize pipeline;
  • Professional poise and confidence while communicating with executives;
  • Great task and time management skills;
  • Fluency in English and French
