Role Overview:

The Senior Key Account Executive for Germany is responsible for promoting Alcatel-Lucent Products and Services to both existing and prospective Key Accounts. This role involves enhancing account relationships through an Indirect Sales Model with Partners to maximize value delivery. The focus is on acquiring new clients and expanding market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

To achieve or surpass sales objectives in the market, the Senior Key Account Executive will execute the sales strategy outlined by management.

  • Maintain and develop existing client relationships while transitioning to a converged & Cloud product portfolio.
  • Introduce converged and Cloud solutions to new accounts within the Vertical market to meet revenue targets.
  • Establish robust relationships with Partner Sales Representatives.
  • Utilize effective sales tools to generate a strong business pipeline focused on new opportunities.
  • Enhance the Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise brand in the vertical market by creating customer references that support long-term partnerships.
  • Deliver precise sales forecasts aligned with business goals, ensuring accurate planning and reporting.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Degree-level education is preferred.
  • Proven track record of successful sales in the Voice/Data/Networking/Cloud sectors.
  • Formal training in Sales techniques, particularly in acquisition skills.
  • Strong ability to translate product features into customer benefits.
  • Familiarity with the German market and established relationships.
  • Proficient networking skills to identify key influencers and decision-makers within customer and partner organizations.
  • Commercial acumen and negotiation expertise.
  • Experience with CRM tools is advantageous.
  • Fluency in both German and English is essential.
