About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Sales Engineer to spearhead license sales growth for our industry-leading test and measurement software.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Forge strategic relationships with top accounts in the Semiconductor, Transportation, and ADG industries, among others.
  • Directly impact the success of groundbreaking engineering projects by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with a global team to build relationships with top innovators and drive sales growth.
  • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that fosters creativity and innovation, challenging you to grow your skills and career.
Your Background:
  • You have established and maintained effective customer relationships throughout your career.
  • You are adept at learning and adopting new technologies to stay ahead of the curve.
  • You possess excellent communication skills, able to effectively convey complex ideas in various settings.
  • You are resilient in the face of obstacles and setbacks, persisting in accomplishing objectives.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of engineering-related experience in Test & Measurement.
  • A solid understanding of test and measurement software like NI LabVIEW, TestStand, LabVIEW Real-Time, LabVIEW FPGA, C, among others.
  • The ability to learn quickly and stay up-to-date on the latest software features and functionalities.
  • Familiarity with the specific needs and challenges faced by engineers in Semiconductor, Transportation, and ADG industries is a plus.
  • Proven ability to achieve goals in a competitive environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
  • Strong presentation and demonstration skills, confident in showcasing the software's capabilities.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers and establish trust as a trusted advisor.
  • Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills, with a focus on achieving shared goals with internal teams.
  • A growth mindset with a willingness to learn, adapt, and experiment in a fast-paced environment.
  • Grit and resilience to handle rejection and overcome challenges.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and a global team schedule.
  • Proficiency in English is essential for this role, with proficiency in French or German being a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical, Computer), Computer Science, or other related fields is preferred.
  • Previous sales experience, particularly in exceeding targets and closing deals, is a plus.
