Roquette is a leading global company in plant-based ingredients and pharmaceutical excipients. We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our Global Environment team and drive our sustainability initiatives.
Your MissionThe Head of Global Environment will play a critical role in improving our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) performance. This position involves leading and coordinating our environmental strategy, aligning with our Life + Nature program.
You will be responsible for driving our organization forward in terms of environmental performance, governance, and stakeholder engagement. Your expertise will help us reduce our environmental impacts, improve our sites' performance, and enhance our EHS management systems.
Your Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive Group environment strategy, aligning with our sustainability targets.
- Characterize and mitigate our most critical environmental risks, ensuring timely remediation plans.
- Establish and deploy the Group's annual environment roadmap and programs.
- Define and deploy Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure our environmental performance.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, tools, and management systems for EHS management.
- Collaborate with regional EHS managers and other functions to execute our environmental strategy.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, transversal collaboration, and stakeholder engagement.
- Propose improvement and investment plans, ensuring effective supervision across the organization.
- Maintain and develop the Group's EHS competencies and training programs.
- Participate in key governance bodies to ensure environmental considerations are integrated into critical projects and decisions.
- Lead the Group's environment audit program and coordinate external audits.
- Represent Roquette in external organizations and industrial associations.
