Head of Strategic Marketing

Roquette, a global leader in plant-based ingredients and pharmaceutical excipients, is seeking a seasoned marketing professional to lead our Strategic Marketing Team. As Head of Strategic Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our business strategy and driving market segment leadership within the Food & Beverage industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop a global marketing strategy and plan, analyzing market data and transforming insights into actionable recommendations.
- Connect with regions to understand their needs and initiatives, elevating them to a global level and aligning with corporate strategy.
- Identify key opportunities and craft compelling stories on trends in the marketplace to promote to customers linked to Roquette's portfolio.
- Lead and steer innovation platforms, including the stage gate process, and prioritize innovation projects based on their potential and impact for the business.
- Collaborate with external partners, such as academia and start-up companies, to accelerate innovation and connect with customers to understand their needs and pre-empt potential areas of strategic alignment.
- Accountable for the Variable Margin (VM) and Gross Margin (GM) of the segments, collecting and sharing best practices across regions for each segment.
- Graduated in Marketing, Business, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or related technical degree.
- Master's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or Economics as a plus.
- 15+ years of professional experience in B2B Marketing, Strategy, and/or Innovation within the Food Ingredients and/or Life Sciences Industry.
- Proven track record of establishing and implementing strategies and programs, leading a team, and innovation processes like stages and gates.
- Fluency in English, with additional languages a plus.
