About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Brambles as a Business Development Manager - European Key Accounts. As a key member of the European Key Accounts team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and developing strategic relationships with our most iconic customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the European Key Account Director to maintain exceptional customer relationships and drive business growth through account health management, negotiation, retention, and expansion strategies.
  • Manage a portfolio of EKA customers across EMENA, with a focus on delivering business value and ensuring acceptable BVA ratios and account profitability.
  • Develop and manage customer Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with detailed action plans, tracking actual vs. target savings, and leading JBP projects to internal and external reviews.
  • Identify and develop new service and product opportunities, innovations, and value propositions to grow, improve, and secure business relationships.
  • Prepare and coordinate customer tenders, support local markets in managing growth opportunities, and implement new business.
  • Share best practices in customer organizations and the EKA community, coordinate NPS surveys, and translate feedback into action plans/JBPs.
  • Build and maintain a European-wide network internally and externally with customers, ensuring awareness of company policies and government legislation.
  • Work independently across broad national and cultural environments, managing time pressure, changing priorities, and maintaining control.
  • Manage specific and standard monthly reporting, coordinate EKAM activity, and support EKAD in meeting and presentation preparations.
  • Ensure audit planning, coordination, and completion, monitoring European performance, and anticipating potential issues and red flags.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of sales processes and methodologies, with creativity in lead generation and the efficient use of CRM tools.
  • Strong solution selling and value-based selling skills, experience in selling and consistently exceeding targets, ideally within the supply chain logistics space.
  • Ability to ideate with customers, identify, and develop value propositions and positive business outcomes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with superior skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as CHEP e-tools, including Siebel and SAP/BW.
  • Fluent English is essential, with fluency in an EU language desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management or a related field.
