Sales Director

The Sales Director - Europe will be responsible for leading the sales team in the European region, focusing on achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. This role will require a proven ability to identify and develop business opportunities, as well as to coach and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed company sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans and forecasts for the sales team and key channel partners.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, key distribution leaders, and business partners relevant to the Industrial Scientific business.
  3. Evaluate performance to objectives and work with the sales team to ensure effective countermeasures are in place to meet sales targets.
  4. Define roles and responsibilities, set performance and development goals, motivate/coach the sales team, and implement training strategies and sales plans that support team execution.
  5. Give feedback to all team members on a regular basis and develop talent within the team to ensure effective succession planning and career development.
  6. Implement a culture and business practices based on the Fortive Business System and high employee engagement.
  7. Co-ordinate and lead programs to drive new product and service launches to success and broad market penetration.
