Your role within the organization:

As the Head of People & Culture for France and a Senior HR Business Partner, you will be instrumental in shaping the people and culture strategy in France, collaborating closely with the local team. You will lead the HR team while maintaining involvement in operational activities, acting as a key People Partner to ensure effective HR processes for all employees.

In this pivotal position, you will serve as the senior HR representative in our French operations during a transformative period, following the integration of Luko's activities and workforce. This is an excellent opportunity to gain insights from a post-merger integration and contribute to its success.

Your key responsibilities may include:

  • Lead, mentor, and nurture a team of three HR professionals in France, promoting a culture of collaboration, growth, and innovation.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, providing strategic advice in a post-merger context, including the alignment and harmonization of HR processes and policies.
  • Design and implement comprehensive strategies that support sustainable business practices while evaluating the people and culture implications of the business strategy.
  • Create and execute initiatives aimed at enhancing employee experience, engagement, satisfaction, and retention, including performance management and career development programs.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to people leaders and staff on employee relations matters.
  • Work alongside your People and Culture peers and experts across different countries on various programs and initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted liaison for the Works Council (CSE).

What skills and experience are essential for success?

  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience in People & Culture (HR), including people management, ideally within a global organization, with knowledge of French labor laws and experience with employee representative bodies.
  • Ability to thrive in a matrix and virtual team environment, supporting multiple locations.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the capacity to build and maintain relationships with all employees, including senior management.
  • Experience in managing organizational change, including restructuring and transformation initiatives on a global scale.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in both French and English.
  • Proficient in negotiation, even in challenging situations, and capable of guiding discussions towards favorable outcomes.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in law, business, psychology, or a related field.
  • M&A experience is a plus, though not mandatory.
