A subsidiary of Veolia group, Veolia North America (VNA) offers a full spectrum of water, waste and energy management services, including water and wastewater treatment, commercial and hazardous waste collection and disposal, energy consulting and resource recovery.
As a key member of the Veolia North America team, you will be responsible for performing various specialized accounting functions of complex nature and ensuring that procedures and practices are being followed in accordance with Company policy, accounting principles, and contractual requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing account reconciliations
- Assisting with the annual audit
- Ensuring the accuracy of information and compliance with established accounting principles and Company policies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and accounting systems software
- Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information or issues
This role may require frequent contact with governmental authorities and/or auditors to clarify, obtain or furnish information and to resolve problems.
