We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Management Professional to join our team at Gleeds Corporate Services Ltd. As a key member of our cost management team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Support Business Unit Directors in achieving business objectives by providing expert cost management advice and guidance.
- Deliver High-Quality Services by ensuring that cost management deliverables meet the requirements of our clients.
- Prepare and Present order of cost estimates and option studies to support business decisions.
- Conduct Cost Planning and cost-in-use studies to identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Advise on and Implement procurement strategies to optimize project outcomes.
- Prepare Tender Documentation and manage the tender process, including designing tender marking schemes.
- Prepare Bids for Services and evaluate and report on tenders.
- Value Completed Work and arrange for payments, and settle final accounts.
- Provide Technical Advice on legal and contractual issues relating to construction projects.
- Administer Contracts as Contract Administrator or Employer's Agent.
- Produce and Present Reports to clients, and advise Directors promptly of any issues that may impact on our professional indemnity insurance.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Cost Management Professional who possesses the following qualifications and skills:
- Previous Cost Management Experience in major real estate related construction projects.
- Knowledge of French Construction Regulation and practical knowledge of construction procurement strategies.
- Knowledge of Contractual Forms of engineering missions, project management assistance, project management, and national legislation impacting on building contracts.
- Clear and Effective Communication Skills and a methodical approach to work.
- Organisational Skills and the ability to quickly adapt to changing environments.
- Excellent Problem-Solving, Negotiating, Finance, and Numeracy Management Skills.
- Sound ICT Skills with a good level of proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to Work as Part of a Team and a professional level of English and French.
