Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Field Support Engineer to join our team in Bratislava, Slovakia. As a Field Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems, and contributing to the development of our technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of our systems.
- Assist in the implementation of new tools and processes to improve system support.
- Manage the customer claims database and follow up on claims to ensure timely resolution.
- Support the validation of technical responses to customers and develop summaries and reports as needed.
- Participate in the technical preparation of Roll Out operations and establish procedures for testing, commissioning, and operation.
- Support the development of corrective plans in the event of non-conformities and contribute to the evolution of Roll Out documentation.
- Contribute to the scheduling of equipment installation with subcontractors and provide technical assistance to installation technicians and subcontractors.
- Perform integration tests for new equipment or FAT/System acceptance with customers.
- Transfer network monitoring to customer support during commissioning or run-in of the system.
- Support the development of technical bulletins and participate in training required for customers or local teams.
- Follow up on technical support operations and participate in the hotline 24/7.
- Initiate, coordinate, and support migration and upgrade activities.
- Draft and respect protocol documents for On-Site Assessment & Training (OSAT).
Requirements:
- Graduate degree in Telecommunications Engineering or related field.
- Slovak native speaker with good knowledge of English language.
- Strong internal and external interpersonal skills.
- Mobility (travel frequently, mainly in Slovakia).
- Driving License B, active driver.
- Able to handle changing and often tense contexts.
- Availability.
- Methodical and autonomous personality.
- Closely attention to detail.
- Already gained experience in on-site operations, welcome but not mandatory.
