The nuclear defense industry plays a crucial role in ensuring national safety and strategic equilibrium. We are looking for a highly qualified and driven Nuclear Systems Architect to become part of our team in the nuclear sector. The ideal candidate will be tasked with the design, development, implementation, and upkeep of intricate systems utilized in nuclear operations. This position is vital for guaranteeing the secure, efficient, and dependable functioning of nuclear systems.
Core Responsibilities:
System Design and Development Craft and develop systems for nuclear operations, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.Conduct comprehensive engineering analyses and simulations to confirm system efficacy. Implementation and Integration Supervise the deployment and integration of new systems within the current infrastructure.Guarantee seamless integration of systems with other operational elements and processes. Maintenance and Upgrades Formulate and execute maintenance schedules and protocols for nuclear systems.Plan and carry out system enhancements and modifications to improve performance and safety. Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution Identify and rectify technical challenges related to system performance and reliability.Offer technical assistance and guidance to operations and maintenance teams. Compliance and Documentation Ensure all systems meet relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.Maintain precise and comprehensive documentation of system designs, modifications, and performance. Project Management Oversee system engineering projects from inception to completion.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success. Risk Assessment and Mitigation Perform risk assessments for system designs and modifications.Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure system safety and reliability. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities for enhancing system performance and efficiency.Implement innovative solutions and best practices to optimize system operations. Training and Development Provide training and support to personnel on system operations and maintenance.Stay updated with advancements in nuclear system technologies and methodologies. Stakeholder Communication Communicate system performance, issues, and updates to internal and external stakeholders.Collaborate with regulatory bodies, industry groups, and other stakeholders as necessary.Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. A master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP)) is preferred.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in system engineering, preferably within the nuclear sector or a related high-tech field.Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in system design tools and methodologies.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.Leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.Additional Requirements:
Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.Willingness to travel to various sites and facilities as required.-
