About the Opportunity

The Institut Curie, a leading research and medical center, is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team. As a key member of our research group, you will contribute to the development of innovative cellular models and functional assays to understand the molecular mechanisms of the FLASH effect in the lung.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and utilize cutting-edge cellular models, such as lung organoids, to study the effects of FLASH radiotherapy.
  • Design and perform in vitro functional assays to investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying the FLASH effect.
  • Conduct molecular analysis, including RNA sequencing, single-cell RNA sequencing, and spatial transcriptomics, to identify key drivers of the FLASH effect.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to inform research directions and publications.
Requirements
  • PhD in molecular or cell biology with a strong background in cellular modeling and radiotherapy research.
  • Experience in developing innovative cellular models, isolating specific cell types from tissue, and cell culture proficiency.
  • Expertise in microscopy and image analysis.
  • Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python or R, is highly desirable.
