The Technical Support Specialist is accountable for providing daily assistance at client locations, focusing on service infrastructure and product demonstrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver hands-on support for customer-facing "Experience Centers" and their core network and computing infrastructure.
- Oversee on-premises lab activities, including hardware setup, logical configuration, and decommissioning.
- Assist in incident and problem management for WAN, LAN, WLAN, and core computing systems.
- Coordinate the deployment and support of onsite experiences and demonstrations.
- Conduct routine inspections and assessments of demonstration environments.
- Manage local Azure resources and subscriptions effectively.
- Establish and oversee Azure environments for hybrid cloud projects.
- Support attendees and presenters during customer visits and events.
- Provide on-site technical assistance and manage device inventory during events.
- Maintain relationships with local OEM partners for hardware repairs and warranty services, as well as IT teams and AV suppliers.
- Operate and maintain audiovisual equipment in meeting spaces and auditoriums.
- Offer consultation and ensure the upkeep of AV room inventory.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on service management, including incident and request handling, change management, and governance of digital asset lifecycle.
- Relevant expertise in IT infrastructure, computing, and networking.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
