Job Details

Arkema is seeking a European Sales Manager Resins Markets to join their team on a permanent contract. The successful candidate will be based in France (head office in Colombes or home office) or Italy (home office).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for the resin markets in France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and MEA.
  • Manage key accounts for resins customers, with direct responsibility for European sales and coordination outside Europe.
  • Lead sales, margins, business development, and customer satisfaction for the Italian market.
  • Collaborate with various interfaces, including customers, back office, Supply Chain, Sales Director, Business developers, Product Managers, Legal, and the Credit department.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A graduate degree from an engineering school or equivalent, with a specialization in sales or negotiation.
  • A technical background with commercial experience or a willingness to develop commercial skills.
  • A minimum of 5 years' professional experience in a similar or technical sales position, preferably with a market player (surfactant/polyols producer or formulator).
  • Strong sales background and a good understanding of marketing.
  • Technical knowledge of the targeted markets and applications and/or knowledge of specialty surfactants/polyols.
  • Rigorous, able to negotiate in an international environment, and listen to customers.
  • A team player, autonomous, and open-minded.
  • Fluency in French, Italian, and English.
