Job Details

Arkema is seeking a highly skilled European Sales Manager Resins Markets to join their team on a permanent contract. The ideal candidate will be based in France (head office in Colombes or home office) or Italy (home office).

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the sales of Arkema's range of polyols and specialty surfactants on the resin markets (coating customers, adhesives, etc.) for France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and MEA. They will also be a Key Account Manager for resins customers with direct responsibility for European sales and coordination outside Europe.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Provide market insights and analysis to inform business decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth
  • Manage sales forecasts and customer collection

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in a relevant field (or equivalent) with a specialization in sales or negotiation. They will have a minimum of 5 years' professional experience in a similar or technical sales position, preferably with a market player (surfactant/polyols producer or formulator). They will also have a strong sales background and a good understanding of marketing, as well as technical knowledge of the targeted markets and applications and/or knowledge of specialty surfactants/polyols.
