About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Global Account Director to lead and manage a European Global Account team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base in the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and Manage a European Global Account Team: You will be responsible for leading a team of senior sales executives to achieve revenue targets and expand our customer base in the EMEA region.
- Full Portfolio Responsibility: You will have full responsibility for our EDA, IP, Design Services, and Consulting Services portfolios in the EMEA region.
- Accountability for Booking and Revenue Numbers: You will be accountable for achieving revenue targets and booking numbers in the EMEA region.
- Drive and Execute Meticulous Account Planning: You will work with the extended team to drive and execute meticulous account planning, identify areas of growth, and lead the team to convert the plan to reality.
- Focus on Customer Success, Value-Based Selling, and Consultative Selling: You will focus on customer success, value-based selling, and consultative selling to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
- Foster Executive Relationships and Alignment: You will foster executive relationships and alignment between our company and our customers to become a trusted partner.
- Communicate Internally and Steer Field Technical Teams: You will communicate internally with support functions in Legal, Finance, and HR, and steer field technical teams and R&D teams to deliver solutions specific to customer organizations.
- Financial Engineering of Multi-Year Agreements: You will be responsible for financial engineering of multi-year agreements and project-specific agreements, including business terms, legal terms, and technical content.
- Master's Degree in Engineering or Related Field: You must have a Master's degree in engineering or a related field.
- 10+ Years of Technical Sales Experience in EMEA: You must have 10+ years of technical sales experience in the EMEA region.
- Track Record of Success Managing a Team: You must have a track record of success managing a team of senior sales executives.
- Experience Building Client Relationships: You must have experience building client relationships with a successful track record of achieving personal and regional revenue targets year over year.
- Ability to Leverage Skills and Knowledge: You must be able to leverage skills and knowledge of people in the extended team.
- Demonstrated Ability in Solution Selling: You must have demonstrated ability in solution selling.
- Excellent Communication Skills: You must have excellent communication skills – oral, written, and presentation.
- Team Player: You must be a team player.
- Ability to Build ROI-Based Business Cases: You must be able to build ROI-based business cases to justify investments.
- Languages: You must be fluent in French and English; Italian is a plus.
