The Role: Nuclear Project Contract Manager
As a Project Contract Manager, you will lead the commercial and contractual aspects of large and complex nuclear plant projects throughout all phases of design, procurement, and construction. You will ensure adherence to project contractual requirements while pursuing commercial, financial, and scheduling targets.
Responsibilities- Advise sales and legal teams on the commercial and contractual aspects of tendering activities for allocated projects, providing a commercial execution strategy focused on contract structure and executability.
- Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of the project during execution to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Establish the Project Commercial Execution Plan and Project Variation/Claim/Insurance Strategy.
- Provide notices to Customers, Consortium Partners, and Insurers in consultation with Project Directors.
- Coordinate the Project team (particularly planning, financial controlling, and engineering) to achieve and further improve project margins.
- Perform risks and opportunities management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and contractors.
- Fluent in written and spoken English. Working knowledge of at least one other language is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of contract law and negotiation principles.
- Proven experience managing complex projects within the nuclear industry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
