Senior Sales Executive - Public Sector

We are a leading organization in the field of analytics, dedicated to empowering clients globally to convert data into actionable insights. As a financially robust multi-billion-dollar entity, we are on the trajectory towards an Initial Public Offering (IPO).

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Sales Executive to enhance our Sales division in France. In this role, you will manage accounts within the Public sector, specifically focusing on Transport and Government entities. Your primary responsibility will be to spearhead new business initiatives within your designated territory while coordinating with teams to support clients on various subjects such as AI, Analytics, NLP, and Fraud Management.

We are looking for an Account Executive who is deeply committed to customer satisfaction and is prepared to leverage 40 years of excellence and innovation in analytics. The ideal candidate will be passionate about cultivating genuine relationships with clients, eager to address their challenges, and motivated to promote our premier software products, solutions, and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve overall software revenue targets and manage business objectives effectively.
  • Oversee and expand an existing portfolio of accounts within the Public sector.
  • Formulate strategies to identify potential growth areas and implement them.
  • Generate new business through strategic selling and nurturing customer relationships.
  • Market software, solutions, and services to current and prospective clients; collaborate with other sales and domain personnel to optimize sales opportunities.
  • Manage complex sales scenarios, including implementation plans that involve coordination of internal and external services.
  • Prepare standard quotations and proposals as necessary; collaborate with various departments to finalize contracts and establish timelines for service delivery.
  • Follow up with clients to assess satisfaction levels and uncover additional revenue opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in selling complex software solutions and services to both business leaders and IT stakeholders.
  • Expertise in identifying and addressing business challenges across the Public sector value chain.
  • Experience in both direct and indirect sales, including collaboration with Global System Integrators (GSIs).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in account mapping and navigating complex ecosystems.
  • Ability to analyze territory dynamics and develop effective sales strategies; capable of communicating technical and business concepts in relation to SAS applications and user requirements; able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Fluency in both French and English is essential.
  • Familiarity with analytics solutions and/or Cloud services is preferred, though not mandatory.
