About the Position

Media.Monks is in search of a Senior Marketing Strategist to spearhead strategic insights on client pitches. This role requires a proactive approach to foresee, investigate, and pinpoint client opportunities, while offering innovative thinking and a compelling point of view, all while managing dynamic and demanding daily projects.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in harnessing creativity and effectiveness, crafting campaigns that are not only well-supported by data but also resonate with current trends and cultural movements. A passion for sports, gaming, music, or street culture is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior clients to grasp their communication goals and key performance indicators in partnership with account and project managers.
  • Conduct thorough research to gather pertinent information, including market trends, competitor assessments, media evaluations, audience insights, and KPI analyses, synthesizing findings into actionable strategic insights (with support from communications and insights strategists).
  • Establish the strategic framework for communication campaigns, translating insights and client requirements into a strategic brief that aligns with KPIs and inspires creative teams.
  • Oversee the execution of the strategy, collect feedback from various teams and clients, and adjust the strategy as necessary.
  • Monitor the implementation and validate the strategy, ensuring that all relevant data is gathered to facilitate a comprehensive strategic analysis of the project.
  • Utilize Media.Monks' capabilities in media, data, and tools effectively.
  • Guide junior strategists and foster a collaborative relationship with the Client Lead and Creative Director on assigned accounts.

About You:

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Creatives, strategists, accounts, producers, and back office).
  • A background of 5-7 years in digital transformation, production, consulting, or agency environments, with a desire to join a high-potential organization.
  • Strong presentation abilities and creative writing skills for developing inspiring briefs.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and pragmatic.
  • Positive attitude, excellent listening skills, and a dynamic, solution-focused mindset.
  • Competitive spirit, with a drive to overcome challenges in pursuit of goals.
  • A genuine interest in social, digital, and innovative markets, with a keen ability to track trends and discuss their implications for businesses and products.
  • Fluent written and spoken English is essential for effective communication with colleagues and clients. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are required.
