About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer to join our AWS Security team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative security solutions to protect our customers' data and applications.

Our team is dedicated to creating a secure and trustworthy environment for our customers, and we are looking for talented engineers who share our passion for security and innovation.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop secure software solutions for AWS Security
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize security requirements
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software code, following industry best practices and AWS security standards
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our security solutions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Extensive experience in professional software development, with a focus on security
  • Experience with cloud technologies, including AWS
  • Programming experience with Java, Python, or TypeScript
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Experience developing using SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Experience in Cloud Technologies
