About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior Software Development Engineer to join our AWS Security team. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from designing and architecting new systems to developing and deploying innovative technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Design and architect new systems to meet the needs of AWS Security
  • Develop and deploy innovative technologies to help keep AWS and our customers secure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of AWS Security
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Extensive experience in designing or architecting new systems
  • Experience in developing for Linux OS
  • Programming experience with Java, Python, or TypeScript
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with full software development life cycle
  • Experience developing using SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Experience in Cloud Technologies
