Ergonomic Workplace Solutions Specialist

Overview

The A&D Representative role at Humanscale is a dynamic opportunity to develop relationships with architects and designers, driving ergonomic awareness and new business opportunities for our sales professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Identify project activity at the design firm level early in the design process to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Communicate project activity in team strategy sessions to ensure effective design firm involvement.
  • Drive product specifications through A&D firms and manage the process until orders are secured.
  • Train designers on ergonomic workplace solutions for their prospects and customers.
  • Achieve and exceed project activity, design specification, and office sales goals.
  • Complete project activity and specification tracker reports and maintain a comprehensive design firm contact list.
  • Involvement and coordination of industry events, seminars, and brand-building initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of Humanscale's product portfolio, including task seating, keyboard supports, and ergonomic work tools.
  • Effectively collaborate with other Humanscale personnel to exceed sales goals.
  • Coordinate design events and entertain clients on a monthly basis.
  • Facilitate presentations for prospective customers.

    Qualifications

    • Solid understanding of corporate design principles.
    • 3-5+ years of business sales experience.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales experience preferred.
    • Successful track record of planning, execution, and networking.
    • Working knowledge of MS Office and associated applications required.
    • Ability to travel up to 25% for overnight trips.
    • Education in design or design-related fields, or experience in office furniture or related industries, a plus.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Skillful negotiation and presentation abilities.
    • Aggressive follow-up and closing skills.
    • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
