Deputy Ethics and Data Privacy Officer - Legal Counsel

ENGIE's Global Business Unit Renewables (R-GBU) is driving the company's renewable energy strategy, aiming to increase installed capacity to 80GW by 2030. We are seeking a Deputy Ethics and Data Privacy Officer to support our Legal Counsel in implementing and maintaining the company's Ethics and Compliance program.

Missions:

  1. Develop and implement the Ethics and Compliance program, ensuring alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  2. Manage and report on internal and external ethics investigations, providing recommendations for improvement.
  3. Contribute to internal audits and annual reports, assessing ethical risks and developing mitigation strategies.
  4. Design and deliver training programs on ethics and compliance, ensuring employee understanding and adherence.
  5. Foster a culture of ethics and compliance within the R-GBU, promoting a proactive and risk-aware approach.
  6. Provide expert advice on ethical and compliance matters, ensuring GDPR compliance and recommending best practices.
  7. Member of the R-GBU:
  8. Collaborate with the R-GBU legal team to provide legal support and guidance on projects and initiatives.
  9. Contribute to structuring projects, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  1. Law degree from a recognized university.
  2. Minimum 5 years of relevant legal experience, with a focus on ethics and compliance.

  2. Ability to lead networks and provide concise, clear, and pragmatic legal opinions.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on critical thinking and proactivity.

  5. Rigor, dynamism, and pragmatism, with a business-oriented approach.
  6. Discretion and respect for confidentiality.
