About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Plastics Sales Specialist to join our client's European sales team in France. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing sales and business development activities of thermoplastic compounds across various industries, including White Goods, Electrical & Electronics, Automotive, Sports & Leisure, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales plan in close cooperation with the Sales & Marketing Director.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships based on trust and partnership.
  • Provide regular progress updates, including sales forecasts and customer meeting reports.
  • Fully utilise internal resources and involve technical specialists on new projects with clients of strategic importance.
  • Identify, quantify, and action new sales opportunities.
  • Maintain compliance with all internal policies and procedures.

About You:

  • You have existing sales experience of thermoplastic compounds with a successful track record of independently developing a new customer base.
  • You can acquire new clients through a value-added sales approach.
  • You possess an entrepreneurial mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and an inner drive to generate satisfactory results and achieve set goals.
  • You have a sufficient understanding of plastics processing methods, preferably with previous hands-on experience.
  • You have a good knowledge of specialty compounds, their applications, and material properties.
  • You are a self-propelling, motivated, independent project manager who is able to set own objectives.
  • You hold a degree in a technical or engineering discipline, preferably related to plastics technology.
  • You are fluent in French and English, with additional European languages being advantageous.
  • You are willing and ready to travel, mainly domestically, but also internationally for internal meetings, trade fairs, conferences, etc.
