In this context, the Vendor Management Office is dedicated to empowering all IT functions across various regions to achieve our Beauty Tech goals.

Vendor Management plays a pivotal role in our IT framework, as we depend on a diverse network of suppliers to execute our IT strategy. This function governs our strategic partnerships to maximize value throughout the vendor relationship lifecycle.

Main Objective: Enhance vendor value to refine our sourcing strategy in alignment with our IT objectives and daily operational needs.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Vendor Manager include:

  • Vendor Strategy Development: Formulate strategies for vendor management and performance enhancement, including identifying opportunities for vendor consolidation.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends and best practices by attending conferences and networking with peers.
  • Vendor Evaluation: Identify and assess potential vendors based on criteria such as technological expertise, quality, cost, reliability, and reputation.
  • Governance Management: Oversee vendor governance to optimize services, costs, and capabilities through strategic business reviews.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain ongoing relationships with vendors to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and expected service levels.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess vendor performance through reviews and key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Issue Resolution: Serve as the primary contact for vendors to address any issues or disputes, collaborating with other departments as necessary.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure vendors adhere to regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, and company policies.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct assessments to identify potential risks in vendor relationships and implement mitigation strategies.

This role reports to the Global Vendor Management Officer.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills, alongside strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Comprehensive global market knowledge of IT vendors and IT products/services (software, cloud, hardware, and outsourcing).
  • Significant experience in people management.
  • Proficiency in packaging and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of contract terms and conditions.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
  • A Master's degree in business administration, IT, or a related field, along with several years of experience in vendor management.
