Position Overview
The Stock Management Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing store profitability by adhering to transparent inventory oversight protocols in accordance with legal standards, safety measures, and internal policies.
Reporting to the Boutique Director, Operations Manager, or Stock Manager, this position is integral to the efficiency of the store's back office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Flow Management
- Assist with administrative and operational tasks related to the movement of goods (preparation, shipping, and receiving of orders; processing, timelines/invoicing);
- Prepare, package, and dispatch products to retail locations and storage facilities;
- Oversee various types of transfers and direct-to-order shipments;
- Facilitate seamless price adjustments;
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout all processes.
- Inventory Oversight
- Track and manage monthly stock counts and develop specific action plans to address identified issues;
- Organize and conduct annual inventory assessments;
- Implement targeted strategies to minimize discrepancies;
- Manage negative stock situations (analysis, investigation, adjustments).
- Stock Oversight
- Establish optimal stock levels to meet sales objectives and alert management in cases of shortages or excess inventory;
- Address urgent situations: delayed shipments, supply shortages, order inaccuracies;
- Ensure the back office is organized in accordance with established guidelines;
- Manage consignments and defective items.
- Omnichannel Coordination
- Oversee shipments specifically related to online sales.
- Additional Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for defect management (opening and tracking tickets);
- Adhere to the company's operational policies and procedures;
- Contribute to fostering a positive work environment.
Candidate Profile:
- Extensive knowledge of the retail sector and substantial experience in inventory management (3-5 years);
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills;
- Team-oriented with effective communication skills;
- Ability to adapt and remain flexible in dynamic situations;
- Capacity to prioritize tasks based on business requirements;
- Robust problem-solving abilities and capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
