About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Scheduling Manager to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our Bid and Project Team, you will be responsible for providing expert time management information to support decision-making at the tender stage and during project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse schedule management requirements for each tender, including schedule structure and reporting constraints.
  • Define tender preparation schedules and monitor progress until submission.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules for your area, ensuring consistency with internal and external stakeholders' commitments.
  • Highlight critical paths and risks linked to project schedules and propose optimisation and mitigation actions.
  • Contribute to project strategy development in compliance with Bid Management Team requirements.
  • Deliver all schedule deliverables on time, down to the requested level.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree.
  • 3-5 years of experience in project scheduling processes, preferably with an industrial or railway background.
  • Proficiency in internal processes, including Tenders, Projects, Engineering, Industrial, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Quality, and their interfaces.
Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge of different scheduling tools, such as Primavera or TILOS.
Competencies and Skills
  • Basic knowledge of railway products and good understanding of the Sub-System.
  • High-level English proficiency is a must.
  • Agility in juggling with schedules simulations, various scenarios, and changing project goals.
  • Rigorous, structured, and anticipatory approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Conflict management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Collaborative management style.
  • Ability to challenge the Sub-System team and propose solutions.
  • Comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment.
