Job Title: Front Office Team Member
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Front Office Team Member to join our team at Mercure Bedford Centre Hotel. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Work collaboratively with the front office team to ensure seamless service delivery, including check-in, check-out, and room assignments.
- Assist with training and development of front office staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent service.
- Contribute to the development of new ideas and initiatives to improve the guest experience and drive business growth.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a front office or customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Knowledge of Opera or similar hotel management systems is an advantage.
