Job Title: Business Development Director

Hydro International, a leading global provider of advanced products and services, seeks a seasoned Business Development Director to drive sales growth and expansion in the French market.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute a regional business strategy to achieve annual sales revenue and gross margin targets.
  2. Build and maintain key business relationships across the customer value chain, identifying new opportunities and routes to market.
  3. Manage all routes to market in the designated region, evaluating and recommending changes as necessary.
  4. Grow the current business across the region through expansion into new target market segments and countries.
  5. Monitor and review monthly key performance indicators (sales, gross margins, profitability) and provide regular reports.
  6. Support existing and future channel partners through product and application training and business planning.
  7. Develop an annual regional strategic plan, detailing optimum route to market, focused growth, new business opportunities, and competitor activity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • A valid driving license.
  • Fluent French and English (written and spoken).

Desirable Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years post-graduation work experience in business development.
  • Proven experience in generating sales in international markets.
  • Strong understanding of the water industry in the region, particularly stormwater.
