Nanoscale Biosensor Developer

Context and Objectives
The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative project between INRIA and the Institut Pascal at Université Clermont Auvergne, focusing on the development of efficient nanoscale biosensors. The project aims to design and numerically study the sensitivity of gap plasmon resonators to environmental changes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement numerical methods for simulating the optical response of gap plasmon resonators
- Conduct uncertainty quantification and robust optimization techniques to study the sensitivity of the optical response to environmental changes
- Collaborate with the research team to design and optimize the biosensor
- Develop and maintain software tools for numerical simulations and data analysis
Requirements
- Master's degree in numerical mathematics or scientific computing
- Sound knowledge of numerical analysis for PDEs
- Basic knowledge of physics of electromagnetic wave propagation
- Proficiency in Python and Fortran 2003 programming languages
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
