Job Overview

Objective & Scope of the Role:

Responsible for managing multi-million Euro sales within the French market, you will operate in the Nourish Business Unit of International Flavors & Fragrances, reporting directly to the Category Sales Leader for France. Your role involves fostering and maintaining productive partnerships with key accounts in the food sector, driving profitable sales growth by aligning with their specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Duties include:


• Achieving or surpassing financial targets; focused on delivering results (both top and bottom line).

• Serving as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned clients, advocating for their interests within International Flavors & Fragrances.

• Grasping customer strategies, brand positioning, potential growth, and identifying how International Flavors & Fragrances can add value to their operations.

• Gaining a comprehensive understanding of International Flavors & Fragrances' structure, capabilities, proprietary technologies, resources, and product/service offerings.

• Establishing International Flavors & Fragrances as a trusted collaborator by co-developing compelling value propositions that meet customer needs.

• Identifying customer requirements that align with International Flavors & Fragrances solutions.

• Optimizing profit opportunities within commercial parameters (e.g., pricing strategies).

• Developing, presenting, and effectively executing strategic account plans that align with Global, Regional, and Sub-Regional business goals. Regularly updating these plans to ensure relevance.

• Acting as the primary liaison for clients, enhancing and maintaining the image and reputation of International Flavors & Fragrances. Cultivating strong customer relationships at all levels through extensive networking and exemplary customer service.

• Identifying and creating new business opportunities for International Flavors & Fragrances, while formulating, adapting, and implementing strategies to drive new sales.

• Building and overseeing a robust project pipeline to ensure sustainable business growth.

• Responsible for accurate sales forecasting and project status updates.

• Compiling sales reports and new business activities for management review.

Qualifications


• A minimum of 7 years of sales experience, preferably in a business-to-business context within the food industry.

• A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Business Management, Sales, or Marketing is preferred.

Work Location : Ideally remote or based in Paris.
