Role Overview

As a Manufacturing Project Specialist, you will collaborate closely with various key manufacturing function supervisors, including Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Procurement.

Your role will involve connecting with global engineering leads and maintenance communities to implement proven solutions and adhere to established standards.

You will oversee projects aimed at enhancing the capacity of existing manufacturing lines or developing new ones. This includes managing different phases of project delivery such as definition, design, planning, commissioning, testing, installation, qualification, start-up, and subsequent development.

As a core or extended team member, you will actively participate in larger projects and corporate initiatives, ensuring that project execution aligns with established processes and utilizes appropriate systems and techniques. You will be responsible for maintaining project documentation, including drawings, schematics, manuals, and technical specifications, ensuring they are updated and accessible for future reference. Regular reporting to management will also be a key part of your responsibilities.

You will play a crucial role in safeguarding business continuity by identifying and mitigating potential risks. This includes participating in investigations and reporting deviations related to equipment qualification status, as well as supporting the execution of necessary corrective actions.

Your project management will focus on meeting timelines, budget constraints, and customer satisfaction objectives. You will directly supervise the installation phase, ensuring that all safety protocols are consistently upheld.

Emphasizing Safety, Health & Environmental standards, as well as Quality and Compliance, you will act in accordance with company policies and relevant regulations. You will also seek to understand manufacturing processes and technology deeply, mastering the interaction between materials and machinery.

Understanding the working conditions in our manufacturing environment is essential, as you will focus on the ergonomics and operability of machinery. You will collaborate with Planning and Production to plan equipment modifications or installations, ensuring alignment with customer satisfaction goals.

Your role will involve liaising with external partners, such as suppliers and consultants, to ensure that equipment acquisition meets project objectives. You will also be tasked with innovating by identifying new technologies and proposing ideas for improvement.

You will identify opportunities for continuous improvement and assess the impact of capital investments and costs, contributing to the definition phase of capital projects. Additionally, you will manage your project team throughout the project lifecycle, from feasibility studies to implementation, including equipment qualification and user training.

Qualifications

Experience: 3-5 years in similar roles.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with various organizational levels.

· Technical curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

· Self-awareness and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

· Relationship-oriented with a focus on results.
