About the Role:
As a key member of the MBDA team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's mission to provide cutting-edge defense solutions to its clients. Your primary responsibility will be to manage procurement activities for the Client Support department, ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with and select suppliers from your portfolio.
- Develop and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
- Participate in project advancement meetings with suppliers.
- Develop and manage daily relationships with your portfolio of partners.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives.
What We Offer:
Our compensation package includes a fixed salary and individual performance-based elements (a variable component for our senior staff and an annual bonus for our non-senior staff) or collective elements dependent on the company's performance and results (participation, interest, and profit-sharing). We also offer a range of services and benefits, including a company restaurant, employee savings plans (PEG and PERCOL), social security (mutual and pension), a social and economic committee, an on-site infirmary, and an internal occupational health and safety service.
Requirements:
- You hold a degree from a prestigious engineering school with a specialization in procurement or a Master's degree in procurement.
- You have acquired initial experience in a high-tech environment and ideally in the defense/aerospace sector or another technical industrial environment.
- You possess negotiation skills for business transactions as well as contractualization, project management, and coordination skills for complex procurement projects.
