Area Sales Manager

Our client, a leading European company in the production of thermoplastic compounds, is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join their team in France.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing sales and business development activities across various industries, including White Goods, Electrical & Electronics, Automotive, Sports & Leisure, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales plans in collaboration with the Sales & Marketing Director.
- Build and nurture strong customer relationships based on trust and partnership.
- Provide regular progress updates, including sales forecasts and customer meeting reports.
- Identify, quantify, and action new sales opportunities.
- Maintain compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Existing sales experience of thermoplastic compounds with a successful track record of independently developing a new customer base.
- Ability to acquire new clients through a value-added sales approach.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong interpersonal skills and an inner drive to generate satisfactory results.
- A sufficient understanding of plastics processing methods, preferably with previous hands-on experience.
- Fluency in French and English are required. Additional European languages would be advantageous.
